The notch, put to work.

Binoch shows what is playing, your battery and the volume you just changed, right where the camera sits.

Requires macOS 14 or later

Three gestures.

1

It rests at the notch

Small and quiet. When something happens, it grows just enough to show it.

2

Click or swipe down to open

A panel opens with a row of icons below it: battery, music, timer and settings.

3

Swipe sideways, swipe up to close

Move between panels with a sideways swipe. It also closes by itself after a moment.

Binoch has no telemetry and asks you to sign in to nothing. Your settings stay on your Mac and are stored encrypted, with the key kept in your Keychain.

The one network request the app can make is fetching album art from the address Spotify supplies for the track that is playing.
